Join us at the Danny Cunniff Pickleball Complex as local summer camps attempt to break the world record for the largest pickleball lesson! 

The Park District of Highland Park is partnering with Mark Miller's Munchkin Programs and the Chicago Slice professional pickleball team for this historic event, aiming to surpass the current record of 300 participants set in 2023. 

The public is invited to watch and encouraged to bring lawn chairs. The Chicago Slice will provide paddles for participants. This exciting event promotes youth involvement in pickleball while showcasing the growing popularity of this fun, accessible sport that builds fitness, coordination, and teamwork skills. 

Note: The Park District's new Club Pickle & Padel indoor facility opens in August 2025 - memberships now available.
